Nicholas Alfred D’Amato, a loving husband and father, resident of Pembroke Pines, passed away Saturday, November 3, 2018, after a courageous battle against cancer. He was 57 years young. Nicholas was born on October 7, 1961, in Brooklyn, New York, to Panfilo and Constance D’Amato. He worked for the City of Miami Beach as a Code Officer. Survived by his beloved wife, Ana Rosa D’Amato; son, Vito D’Amato; sister, Joanne Staffa-Wiles; brother, Michael D’Amato; cousin, Edward Kash; and extended family. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 7th, from 3:00 – 8:00 PM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, Hollywood Boulevard Chapel. A tribute service will begin at 6:30 PM. The D’Amato family will be accepting flowers or if preferred, donations can be made on behalf of Nicholas D’Amato for Men’s Cancer Research, us.movember.com

No words can describe how I feel right now. The only thing that eases my mind is that you are UpThere with your loved ones and you are pain free. To Anna and Vito heart is broken over the loss of Nick. He was my brother from a different mother for over 30 years. I will always remember and cherish our special times together the love we have for music. P.s. may God have a guitar waiting for you to play with the best of the past.
