Melvin, Thomas Richard, 62, of Pembroke Pines, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2011. He is survived by his wife, Rosemarie Melvin; children, Jennifer Desmidt and her husband, Thomas, Monica Robinson, and Christopher Robinson; 5 siblings; and 7 grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 16, 2011, from 5-8 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM, at Boyd-Panciera University Drive Chapel. Funeral Mass will be on Monday, October 17, 2011, 11:00 AM, at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church.

I want you to know that I am thinking of you and am so sorry to hear of Tommy’s passing. I loved him very much and have many many fond, funny memories of him from childhood on. I cannot come to the service but I will be thinking of you.

Rose and Jennifer, I am so sorry to hear about Tommy and want to know you are in my thoughts and prayers. I have many great memories of Tommy – especially during our childhood years. He always made me laugh. I will not be able to attend the funeral but I will be with you all in spirit. Always very proud to call him my nephew.
