Kearns, Virginia Anne, 86, of Hollywood, passed away on Monday, March 19, 2012. She is survived by her sister, Carolyn McGlasson; 19 nieces & nephews; and numerous great and great great nieces & nephews. A Gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, March 22, 2012, from 6-8 PM with a Tributes of a Lifetime Service at 7:00 PM, at Boyd-Panciera University Drive Chapel.

I am a Pittsburgh Kearns by blood from my mother Patricia. My grandfather was Raymond A. Kearns a younger brother to Harry Kearns, Sr. who I believe Virginia was a decendant.

My deepest condolences to the family of Virginia Kearns. Although we never met, I am her second cousin. My grandfather, Gilbert, and hers, Harry, were brothers. From my grandfather’s old photo album, I had found early pictures of her and her family, and had hoped to share them with her at some point. May she rest in peace.
