TEBOE, Ray M., a loving father, grandfather and brother, of Miami, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 23, 2015, two days short of his eighty-fifth birthday.
Ray was born on March 25, 1930 in Newark, NJ, to the late Shirley Ray Teboe and Irene Barrett Teboe.
Mr. Teboe graduated cum laude with a Bachelors Degree from Seton Hall University in 1952. He worked as a steamfitter in New York and New Jersey while on school breaks. After graduation be joined the U.S Army enrolling and graduating from the U.S. Army Information School.
After completing his military service, Mr. Teboe attended New York University Graduate School of Public Administration from 1957 to 1959 receiving a Masters Degree in Public Relations.
In 1959, Mr. Teboe’s career took him to South Florida to become Vice-President in charge of public relations, advertising and marketing for the ARVIDA Corporation. During that time he was instrumental in communications for this premier Florida land development firm and contributed to the success and expansion of their crown-jewel property – The Boca Raton Hotel and Club.
In 1970, he founded his own specialized boutique public relations, advertising and real estate company.
An avid photographer and writer, Mr. Teboe served as president of Society of American Travel Writers. He was President of the South Florida chapter of the Public Relations Society of America in 1967. Mr. Teboe received numerous awards for his work.
Mr. Teboe had keen intelligence, wit, and an amazing way with the English language. He loved photography, movies, golf, fishing and reading.
Ray will be fondly remembered by his beloved children, Mark Teboe, Bret Lisa Teboe, Dana Brenda Teboe, Glenn April Teboe, Ramona Neal Sheerer, Jon Teboe, Rene Vicki Teboe; sister, Shirley Waters; and especially by his 13 loving grandchildren who enjoyed laughing and smiling with their grandfather.
Ray was extremely proud of his children and grandchildren’s achievements in family life and their chosen careers. His children are proud to have had parents who provided many opportunities that contributed to good well-rounded lives.
Funeral Mass will take place on March 30, 2015, 11:00 a.m. at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 12125 SW 107th Avenue, Miami, FL 33176. Interment will be held at Calverton National Cemetery in Calverton, New York.

My condolences to the Teboe family. John 11:41-43 read: Jesus cries out “Lazarus come out” and the dead man came out. This bible account teaches us that the resurrection is a reality, not just a mere myth. So yes, you may see your loved one again, enjoying life and you enjoying him.
