VASSALLO, Rodolfo I., age 92, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, of Pembroke Pines, died Tuesday, April 30, 2019, at Memorial Regional Hospital after a short illness. 

He was born on February 1, 1927 in Lima, Peru, to Enrique Vassallo and Victoria Tello. He met Matilde and short after they were married, they spend the next 69 years together raising their beautiful family. Him and Matilde relocated to south Florida where the spent the rest of their lives. He worked as an executive for a transportation distribution company until retirement. 

In addition to his parents, Rodolfo is pre-deceased by his daughter, Gladys Vassallo. Rodolfo will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife, Matilde Vassallo; his loving children, Alberto (Elva), Vicky (John), Dora, Susana (Adolfo), Maritza (Sergio), Pilar (Walter), Rudy (Emily), and Alex “Jano” (Marcela). He is also survived by 31 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. 

The family will receive friends at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, University Drive Chapel on Thursday, May 2nd, from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Tribute of a Lifetime Service will begin at 8:00 p.m.
