Raymond Edward Daugherty, 89, of Pembroke Pines, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, January 5, 2016. He was born on September 4, 1926, in New Kensington, PA. He is the son of James Daugherty and Ethel Chochran. Raymond met the love of life, Adra in Wilmington, DE in 1953, they got married a year later. They moved to South Florida in 1962 and joined Sheridan Hills Baptist Church in 1964. Raymond received Christ on Christmas Eve 1955. Raymond and Adra lived a beautiful life together until her passing in May 12, 2012. They are now reunited. His memory will always be cherished by his daughters, Faith Daugherty and Cheryl Rae Pressley and her husband, Michael; grandchildren, Cindy, Julie, Sarah, Ben, Annie, Lisa, David, Jason, Joshua and Jared; great-grandchildren, Daniel, Tara, Joelle, Alicia, Nolan, Lucy, Carlos, Ryan, Caleb, Shayla, Allissa, Tyler, Alise, Tyler, Jesse, Maddline; great great-grandchildren, Paeyton and Penelope; and step-son, Gary Edens and his wife, Christine. A Celebration of Ray’s life will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 16, 2016, at Sheridan Hills Baptist Church. Donations may be made to Sheridan House Ministries 1700 S.
