Erik J. Lemelbaum, of Miami, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at the young age of 35. Erik was born on August 29, 1980, to the late Mitchell Lemelbaum and Susan McGee. Eric was originally from the Syracuse New York area where he was an avid Lacrosse player. He was a Lacrosse coach at the University School of Nova (U School) where he touched the lives of the students he loved to teach and coach. He was also a Lacrosse coach for the Broward Barracudas Travel League and player for the Ft. Lauderdale Flamingo Lacrosse Mens League. He will always be remembered and missed by his family, friends and his student whom he loved so much. He is survived by his son, Logan Lemelbaum; sister, Tina Archambault; niece and nephew, Ashlee Archambault and Trey Archambault; and his significant other, Katie Arias. The family will receive friends at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, University Drive Chapel on Saturday, March 19, 2016, from 3-6 p.m. Tributes of a Lifetime Service will begin promptly at 5:00 p.m. We will celebrate his life and honor his memory.
