Thomas Julien Gains, 69, of Cooper City, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, April 2, 2016. He was born on March 21, 1947, in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late Robert Gains and Rita Zuber. A proud US Army veteran and Miami-Dade Police Officer for over 34 years. He was an animal lover and one of the few officers that carried dog food in the trunk of his car to feed street animals. His memory will always be cherished by his devoted wife, Sandra Mary Gains; sons, Robert Gains, Michael Gains and David Gains; his loving grandchildren and friends.
