Dear Freddie,
Karen spoke of you in such warm and tender terms that I know you, yet we have not met. Karen was a Gilda’s friend, and we went to many Friday support group mettings. We “did” lunch, we “did” telephone, we just shared and rejoyced and cried together. Karen will be missed by so many. She was a bright and shining light for many of us. Her positive attitude was always a gift of strength to us all. We mourn for her, and know that your grief is just so inconsolable right now. Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Karen was such a fighter, it was a pleasure to be with her and have some of it rub off. I met Karen at Gildas’ and introduced her to the dog park in Ft. Lauderdale, went to lunch a few times. I am so sorry and my thoughts are with you. Lois Krieff
