Brown, Helen M., 82, passed away peacefully on 3/5/04 after a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of Robert L. Brown for 62 1/2 years. The daughter of the late William and Helena Donahue, Mrs. Brown was born and raised in Milford, MA. She moved to Florida in 1955 where she owned a successful card and gift shop in Miami Beach. For many years she was a loving caregiver for the children of several Miami Dolphin players including Dan and Claire Marino. In addition to her husband she is survived by two sisters, Grace V. Geake and Shirley A. Murphy Harold, brother-in-law Harold Brown Bertha, eighteen nieces and nephews, many great nieces and nephews, and four great-great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, William Donahue, Jr. and Raymond Donahue. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:30 am Monday 3/8/04 at St. Stephens Catholic Church 6044 SW 19 St. Miramar, FL 33023. Burial will take place at St. Mary’s cemetery in Milford, MA. Donations in lieu of flowers to St. Stephens Catholic Church.
