Launa Cuff was born on December 5, 1952 in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica to Joshua and Frances Bookal. She attended Excelsior High School in Kingston, Jamaica and the College of Arts, Science and Technology where she received her training as an Executive Assistant.
Launa left Jamaica for New York City where she married Robert Cuff. They had three children, two daughters; Christine and Monique and son Robert.
She settled in South Florida where she worked for Southeast Bank and Vitas in Miami until her illness. She was an ardent church goer and had a tremendous faith in God throughout her life, until finally the Lord was ready to take her home.
Launa is survived by three children, sisters; Lilibelle Sanderson, Cynthia Chang, Barbara and Pansy Bookal, and Hyacinth Lindsay, brothers; Roland, Bradley and Cerrik Bookal, several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and numerous relatives and friends.

My Condolences go out to Launa’s Family. I am extremly close to her Daughter Christine and I feel her loss as if it were my own.Launa was a beautiful,giving and friendly person that opened her home to me,when visiting.
God Bless you Launa and May you Rest In Peace for all of eternity.
