Downs, Jo Anne , 75, of Pembroke Pines passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2008. She is survived by 3 children; Sue Humphrey, Kathy Uritis, and John Downs; 2 grandchildren, Casey and Katie. Friends may visit from 2:30 PM, Saturday April 12, 2008 at Boyd’s University Dr. Chapel. Memorial Services will be 3:00 PM, Saturday, Apr. 12, 2008 at Boyd’s University Dr. Chapel.

I am so sorry to be in Canada and not be there with you at this time. Jo Anne was, as you all were, such a important part of my life. She will be greatly missed. My prayers are with you all.

My husband deceased Del, and I were your Dad’s patients for years. He and my husband sang in the Barbershop group for years. We moved away but retired to Maryville, Tenn in 1980 so were able to spend many happy times with your parents when they stayed at their home in Tennessee. It saddens me to realize that I am the only one left of this happy group. I just adored your Mother. What a terrific lady she was. I will miss her yearly Christmas greeting to me.
My deepest sympathy to all of you for the loss of this dear and wonderful lady. How lucky I was to have shared in a small part of her life.
