Filomena A. Presti, 98, a resident of Pembroke Pines, passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2016. Filomena was born on December 20, 19417, in Brooklyn, to the late Francis Monti and mother Concetta. Filomena was preceded in death by her beloved husband. She is survived by her loving daughter, Dorothy Rogers; sons, Francis D’Amato and Richard D’Amato; grandchildren, Gregory, Anthony, Jeffrey, Angela, and Kenneth D’Amato; and great-grandchildren, Joseph, Maximillian, and Noelle D’Amato. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, June 20, 2016, from 6-9 p.m. with a Tributes of a Lifetime Service at 8:00 p.m. at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, Hollywood Boulevard Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be held on the next morning, Tuesday, June 21, 2016, at St. Bernadettes Catholic Church at 9:00 a.m. Following Mass, there will be a burial at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery at 11:00 a.m.
