I have known Chuck from our days in the same grade at St. Anthonys. I considered Chuck a good friend then and that has not changed over the years – even though I did not see him often. The last time was at our 8th grade reunion. One thing about our class – there is a strong bond among all of us so we all grieve with you. Chuck was an outstanding person and a pleasure to be with anytime. His legacy was in full view with all the relatives, friends and associates that showed up for his funeral. I smile as I think about a photo I have of him back in 1985 with his curly hair and mustache – we all certainly change over the years! He was constantly encouraging members to step up and participate, to get involved, and to make a difference in the communities where they lived and worked – and he practiced what he preached.
