Father Leo will be remembered at the Masses to be prayed this week-end at the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows. Father is fondly and gratefully recalled by the Missionary Association of Mary Immaculate. Father Leo was a gracious host at Blessed Joseph Gerald House. In the Main Church, where we are celebrating a Novena in Honor of Our Lady of the Snows, there is a gracious wall hanging of Blessed Joseph Gerald. As I look to it I will recall a dedicated teacher. He taught Math to us at Our Lady of Hope Seminary. Father Leo was one of the best read Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate in the Uited States Province! Father John Madigan, O.M.I. I have always enjoyed Father Dionne. He was pleasant and always had time to listen. He was great with the kids. I know my 2 children grown nowliked him. They both attended St Stephen’s from kindergarden through 8th grade. I haven’t attended mass as regular as I should but I’d try to make it a point to be there if I knew Father Dionne was presiding. He was an asset to St Stephen’s parish and will be missed.
