to dianne’s family.
I loved dianne very much and am so genuinly sorry to hear of her passing. we had been estranged for the past two years but my caring and love for her has never ceased.
Though, tormented and difficult at times, she was also a wonderful loving, loyal friend and we have shared many beautiful moments over the past 27 years or so. I send you all my deepest condolences, though I know she was difficult, she touched many of us in deep ways. I light my candle and send her love, peace and calmness.

Hello,
I just came across this posting while I was trying to contact Dianne to say hello. I am so sorry for your loss and wish I could have laughed with her one more time….
Although I haven’t seen her own extrodinary art in many years the memory of “Androgeny” and many other of her works are imbedded in my mind and heart.
I will remember her always….
Take care, Dawn

In the early 1990s when I was in law school,”Patisse” designed a beautiful image for a civil rights project in Mississippi. It was a striking image that was circulated widely on posters and tshirts. She refused to accept any payment and offered to help in other ways with the project. I found the image recently and thought of her generous gift, beautiful smile, and vibrant canvases. I’m so glad that our paths crossed and I regret that I lost touch with her when she moved from NYC. I send warmest condolences to the family.
