There are no words I have found to express my deepest of sympathies to Gary’s family. His loss is felt far and wide throughout his group of friends, family, and co-workers, all of which will remain in my prayers.

I am still completely shocked! My heart aches for you Samantha and Mikey. Carol, you have been in my thoughts just as much. It’s so hard to understand why someone so vibrant and talented is taken from us way too soon.

Gear Bear…that’s what our little group called him! The first time I heard him play the trumpet I was amazed!! Not to mention the guitar…He was a wonderful friend and I will dearly miss you! I knew Gary in high school and college. My heart broke with the news. I followed his fight and he will be missed dearly. My thoughts a prayers are with his family.

I played in the High School band with Gary. Good memories, only good memories. I just recently came back in contact after 16 yrs. Followed his illness and very shocked about the sad news. He was a fighter. Prayers from my family to his wife and son.
