Cabrera Jr., Juan , 75, of Hollywood passed away Sunday, April 4. He is survived by his wife Hermitania Cabrera, 6 children; Juan Cabrera III, Daniel Cabrera, Denora Rodriguez, Linda Ayala, Stella Gerbasi, Thomas Cabrera, 1 brother, Raymond Cabrera, 3 sisters, Marta Figueroa, Ana Lopez, Petra Carrasquillo, 7 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. Friends may visit from 11 AM – 1PM, Wednesday at Boyd-Panciera Hollywood Blvd. Chapel. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM, Wednesday, Apr. 7.

I first met my father in law playing softball. He was a great pitcher and he needed a pinch runner so I ran for him as he batted. Little did I know he would become my future father in law. I am very grateful to have been present when he crossed homeplate into heaven. I will miss you Juano.

I want to say thankyou to God for giving me such a great man for a father-in-law who never made me feel like and outsider but treated me as his own.
