We all anxiously awaited for your arrival in the United States, and could not wait to meet you. You went to dinner with us the first night you were in this country, and I don’t think you ever missed any other dinner shared by our families after that. I remember how thin and tired you were, and how you didn’t speak any English. Within an astonishingly short time, you were speaking amazing English, had a job, and were enrolled in college. I wish more Americans had the drive and courage that you had. You will be sorely missed, as will your lovely Daniel. We enjoyed all of the fun times we shared with you, and all of the joy that you brought to our lives. May God hold you in loving care as we here on Earth try to learn to cope with our loss.
