Flores, Jose A., 85, of Miramar, passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2011. He is survived by his wife, Leonides Flores; son, Joe Flores; daughters, Emma Calderon, Maria Calderon, Nydia Scarpari, Eroilda Torrales, Sandra Tirado, Alicia Flatter, & Edna Gadowitz, and 1 sister. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2011 from 4-6 PM at Boyd-Panciera Douglas Rd. Chapel. There will be a Graveside Service with Military Honors on Monday, January 10, 2011, 10:30 AM, at South Florida National Cemetery.

Dear Ero and family:
I’m really sorry to hear about your Dad. We both know that he is now with God in a better place with his suffering gone. I know how much his pain caused you sorrow and grief, and I found it extremely difficult to see you bear it. But, God will never give us more than we can bear, and he is with you through every step in your life.
Your dad will always be with you; his spirit and good will be part of you no matter where you go. I know that you wanted, needed, and hoped for more time to spend with your father but the time you did spend with him meant so much to him. Your dad loved you very much and I know you will miss him terribly. God gives us examples on this earth of how we should live our lives and your father was one of the best examples.
I wanted to let you know that I am here for you at any time you need me – just to listen, or to talk. I already told you this, but I wanted to say it again. Please, don’t hesitate to call me .

Our prayers are with the entire Flore’s family today. I know your Dad will be missed dearly, but now he is in the hands of our Lord and Savior. David Crowder was on the radio this morning singing “Never Let Go” and it reminded me of my running buddy Joe. God’s love is perfect and as the song says:
Oh, my soul
Overflows
Oh, what love, oh, what love
oh, my soul
Fills with hope
Perfect love that never lets go
God’s love is perfect and without your Dad, you would not be here today furthering God’s kingdom. Thank you Lord for Jose A Flores!!!
