I’ll miss you mom. I wish I can just talk to you one more time. I would tell you how much I loved you and how much it hurts that you have gone.

Diane, my big sister, I miss you very much and wish I could have gotten to know you better in our older years. When you are young, and we were separated a lot through family circumstances, still there was a big enough age gap that didn’t lend it itself to us hanging out much.
Then came the big moves. I moved West, with my two young daughters, to California in 1969 and you went South with your family to Florida.
Those 3000 miles and 32 years later I find myself in Montana with another 10 years between us. This time freezing my bottom off while you soak up the rays in sunny, Hollywood, Florida now called West Park?…
My memories will always be of that very young pretty momma, taking care of her Johnny, in the early 1960’s – always making sure he looked sharp. I remember her dressing her only son at that time, her only child up in some of the cutest clothes and we would all trudge over to the Bronx Zoo hard to believe that was one of our hangouts! and meet up with June and her two toe heads also, Joey and Jimmy…aghhh those days were fun! I loved being the little sister hanging out with you and your great MOMMY skills, fun lunches you and sis June packed and well, just young, carefree days.
My special favorite moments were when we would sing in two part harmony, the Everly Bros. tunes, which were still so popular then. We SOUNDED Good eh? Diane, tee hee, at least WE thought so! You had Patricia, Laura, Mikey and Joseph and you loved each one in a different way. Well, I believe, very wholeheartedly that your singing in harmony with the angels- the Lord is pleased. Till we sing together again, “All I Have to Do is Dream.”
Your loving sis, still freezing her bottom off in Montana…
