I remember when Daria was the intrepreter assigned to my ESE Business class. She was great with the kids. She explained to me how most of our hearing impaired students could not read…so in addition to teaching them keyboarding skills & MS Office, we taught them how to read, starting with some very basic children story books I had picked up at a thrift store. From Daria I also learned some very basic sign language which helped me with the students. Daria was an amazing individual who touched many lives. She will be missed by all who knew her.
