Hinds, Stephen Lewis, 82, of Miramar, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2011. Preceded in death by his brother, Clarence and sisters, Katy, Mabel, Vera, Dorothea, and Cynthia. He is survived by his wife, Ivy Hinds; sons, Hugh Hinds and Devon Hinds; daughters, Marlene Hinds-Cambell, Sandra Hinds-Allen Dudley, Carol Hinds-Womack Phillip, and Audrey Hinds-Richiez Anthony; brothers, Vincent Hinds, Gladstone Hinds Gloria, and Lincoln Hinds Thelma; sisters, Maria Hinds, Barbara Baker Edwin, Angela Hall Phillip, Marjorie Hinds, and Althea Hylton; 12 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2011, from 6-8 PM, with a Tributes of a Lifetime Service at 7:00 PM, at the funeral home. There will be a second visitation on Friday, October 21, 2011, from 10:00 AM with a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM, at The Episcopal Church of the Holy Family. Interment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
