Hanson, Kenneth W., 77, of Cooper City went home to be with the Lord Thursday, December 22, 2011. He is survived by 3 children; Gary “Rusty” Teddy, Ken, Jr. Cindy, Jeff Muriel; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Ken was a U.S. Marine who received a Purple Heart for his service in the Korean War. He retired from Dade County Public Schools as a Sheet Metal Journeyman in 1997. Friends may visit Monday, Dec. 26th from 6-8pm at Boyd-Panciera Douglas Road Chapel. Funeral Service will be at the Bible Baptist Church, 7 SW 129th Avenue, Pembroke Pines onTues., Dec 27th at 4:00pm followed by a reception. Interment will follow at Goldthwaite Memorial Cemetery, Goldthwaite, TX. In lieu of flowers please make all donations to Bible Baptist Church for Missions Ministry.
