Garbosky, Lucille E., 82, of Sunrise, passed away on Monday, August 13, 2012. She is survived by her sons, Ken Giselle Haupert, Robert Haupert, Jeffrey Kandace Haupert, Richard Nita Haupert, Russell Terri Haupert & Christopher Sandra Haupert; brother, James Patricia Harrington; and grandchildren, Justin, Alexander, Danielle, Christina, Anthony & Amanda Haupert. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2012, from 3-6 p.m. with a Tributes of a Lifetime Service at 4:30 p.m., at Boyd-Panciera Hollywood Boulevard Chapel.

I have been a sister/friend with Lu since I was 16, which is 50 years. We met through my oldest sister Patty, who met when they became friends when Lu moved next door to each other in Kew Gardens when the twins were just 2. ,
We all then all moved to Queens Village within blocks of each other. We spent so much time with each other sitting around at one house or another drinking coffee, talking, and laughing; this is the time when lu became a sister and not just a dear friend. Patty and Lu moved to Long Island, I remained in Queens with my parents but still spending alot of time together. I always had Sunday dinner with Lu and family, when I became engaged my boyfriend also spent Sundays with Lu also. Lu moved to Fl. and after my divorce so did I, we reconnet and once again spending time together. When Lu had the weekends off she would spend them with me and my sons. Lu stayed in Fl. I moved to NJ but we spoke all the time, sometimes daily, but not less then twice a week. I miss you dearly, go to pick up the phone to call you then sadly remember you have moved on to a better place. I love you Lu. Give Mom, Dad, Patty a kiss and hug for me.
