I am going there to prepare a place for each of you. 3 After I have done this, I will come back and take you with me. Then we will be together.”

Both Frances and I are truly and profoundly saddened to receive news of Lorraine’s passing.
We convey our deep condolances and prayer to your family.
“For what is it to die but to stand naked in the wind and to melt into the sun?
And what is it to cease breathing, but to free the breath from its restless tides, that it may rise and expand and seek God unencumbered?
Only when you drink from the river of silence shall you indeed sing.
And when you have reached the mountain top, then you shall begin to climb.
And when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance.”

A beautiful face. A beautiful smile. A loving mother and wife. A friend to us all. I can’t remember a time when Loraine wasn’t smiling, especially on the soccer field. She truly enjoyed her soccer, and who would have ever known she could run that fast? I remember when she taught me the word “Trini” from Trinidad; she was so very proud of her homeland. An Angel whispered
take my hand and
come with me
your work here is done.
I went away to a place
where there’s no tears, nor sorrow
only laughter and smiles,
there will always be a Tomorrow.
As I move amongst the clouds.
I’ll look down and smile upon you,
while the angels
sing a heavenly song.
I am not alone
all who went before
are here
they awaited my return.
I know you’ll grieve
and wish I was still here
I am here in the memories
you hold dear.
Remember how much I
love you
and know I took your
love with me.
I did not wish for
you to cry, nor feel sad.
My pain is gone and
I am Free!
Soon you’ll come to me
until then
God will be with you
Just as He’s with me.
With deepest condolences to the Duval and Jennings families and to ALL of those who loved Loraine. May she rest in peace.
