Manny, I’ll always remember your witty and playful ways. How every time we met everything was ok and you had a joke to tell.
Thank you for teaching me that the Rock of the family takes care of business, never criticizes and is forever supportive.
Love, Jason

As a kid you always greeted me with an awesome hug, a “nice to see you” and a joke or a funny story. As I grew up, the joke was followed by a “how’s the flower business?” and my answer was always, “just blooming!” You got a kick out of that. You were a great story-teller and a great listener, not common to be both! I mostly admired the beautiful family you raised, how deeply you loved them and how close you all are. You will truly be missed. I love you, Uncle Manny! – Anita

Dear Uncle Manny,
We had some good times together, didn’t we! Lucky for me your TV shop was so close to my office that it was easy to stop by and have a nice chat and a few laughs.
I even brought a bunch of curious co-workers one time after a Planner’s luncheon at Casa Juancho.
I’ll always remember rattling the steel gate and shouting Manny to gain entrance during normal business hours. Enjoy your well deserved ultimate retirement and everyone up there will be thrilled to have you now with them to keep them laughing. Hasta Luego Tio.

Uncle Manny,
As a kid I always enjoyed spending time at your home that you created with your magic of love and caring for everybody that you came in contact with. I loved when dad would drop me off at your “shop” and the jokes you were famous for. I distinctly remember the smell of your pipe at all the holidays whether it be Christmas, Thanksgiving or Easter. To this day, what a peaceful, easy feeling that gives me.
You gave all your kids and me included a sense of responsibility and the importance of family! When I made my mistakes in life you were never disparaging but encouraging. I thank you for that. It has been 30 earth years since I lost my father, but this helps to bring back those fond memories that we all had growing up in such a great and loving family. Say hello to Baby and Nana and we will all be reunited in God’s good time. May God bless you and your family at this difficult time. I love you too Tio.

I still can`t believe that you are gone and I wish to say “thank you” for always being there for me.I wish I would have came over more often. You always had those silly jokes.I miss that now.As a young boy I would come over to spend the weekend with the family and when you would come home from work, you would put all your money and change on top of the television,,,I asked if you were afraid of someone stealing all that money and you told me”if I can`t trust my own family, who can I trust”..To this day I do the same thing with my family..Take care my friend…

Dad,
I always think of you with a smile , you were always joking. When I would call you, you would pretend you did not know who I was and then say Donna , my favorite daughter in law!!! I was the only one You also loved my cooking and I loved to feed you. You were the best grandfather to my daughter Blair. Thank you for everything and you are missed. Rest in peace.
Love Donna

Manny, we shared a lot of time together these past 39 years–talking around the dinner table, hanging out at your store, spending holidays together with the family as it continued to grow, going on vacation, treating me to lunch at Burger King, riding in your wagon or van, telling me to “take her home”, asking me about Christopher, and many, many more moments than I can mention here. I miss you, but you will always be with me in my memory. Next to my dad you were the most important man in my life. Thank you for the time we spent together and especially for the gift of your beautiful daughter, Janie. Love you.
