I held my Tio Anibal’s hands and looked into his eyes and share the 3 most memorable moments he had shared with me. The first one that came to mind was when I was 10 years old. He gave me a gold bracelet. I never had anything made of gold given to me; I truly felt very special. Tio Anibal was there to hold my hand as I identified the dead body of my mother. He offered clarity and lots of love during that emotional experience. And recently, it was Friday, August 31st, 2012, the day of the full moon; we went to Hollywood Beach to bask in the sand and eat ice cream. Yummy! I know for sure he is in GOOD HANDS…Besitos Tio!

I had a great father! He was loving, affectionate and generous. My father wasn’t a violent person, but, he was stubborn and at times, obssessive. For 45 years, I found his quiks humorous. Conservative and old-fashioned in his owns ways, yet, he was fun to be around with. I miss those days. Daddy, thank you for being there for me and my brother. We talk about you often since your heavenly departure. You are now safe, in peace, and in a better place. Love you forever, Lali!
