Elizabeth Betty Ann Dyer, age 90 years, of Hollywood, FL passed away Saturday, January 5, 2013. Born on December 27, 1922 in Chicago, IL. She married married Harold Joseph Dyer on February 1, 1944, while he was on leave during World War II. After Harold returned home from the war they had two sons James Joseph 1947 and Lawrence Michael 1950 . They moved to Hollywood, FL in March of 1951 where they established their new home and became members of Little Flower Church. Harold and Betty operated several businesses in Hollywood including service stations and insurance businesses. She was a member of the Catholic Women’s Guild at Nativity and Little Flower parishes. Betty recently lost her younger brother, Raymond Courtney whose children are, Michael, Eileen, Donna, Suzy and Danny. Her children James Joseph and Ellen Dyer of Southwest Ranches and Lawrence Michael and Joy Dyer of Pembroke Pines, her grandchildren Timothy James and Thomas James and great grandchildren Brianna, Alexa, and Timothy James Jr. and friends will miss Betty. Friends may visit from 2- 4 PM, Wednesday at Boyd-Panciera Hollywood Blvd. Chapel.
