Mr. Steve Bodnarchuk, 85, of Davie, passed away on Monday, September 30, 2013, in Pembroke Pines, FL. He was born in Manville, New Jersey to the late, Anthony and Mary Bodnarchuk. He serviced in the US Army for several years and later received his Master’s Degree which let him serve as a Guidance Counselor to many individuals. Steve is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 58 years, Jean Bodnarchuk; sons, Tim Robin Bodnarchuk and Steve Becky Bodnarchuk; and her adored grandchildren, Luke, Serge, Ian, Alex and his wife, Linley, Toby, Anna and Blair. Graveside and Military Service will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2013, 11:15 a.m. at South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 South State Road 7, Lake Worth, FL 33449. A Memorial Service will take place on Friday, October 4, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at Plantation Baptist Church, 11700 NW 28th Court, Plantation, FL 33323.

We will miss Steve at Plantation Baptist Church, but we look forward to being reunited with him in Heaven! Praise to God for sending his Son, Jesus Christ, to be our Savior.

Stit was my Sunday School teacher when in High School and the best church committe member ever. He was at every work night we ever had and never had a mean word to say about or to anyone. Was an amazing example of Christ likeness to all those he worked with also. Really missed him when he moved to be with kids and grandkids down south. Our prayers will be with Jean his sweetheart.
