TALLANT, William M. Jr. “Billy T” passed away on December 11, 2013. Surviving are his wife, Lois C. Tallant, and children Linda M. Tallant of Elijay GA, Terri M. Sudden and Marla C. Tallant of Ft Lauderdale FL, and Thomas W. Tallant of Las Vegas NV, five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Bill is also survived by his brother James E. Tallant and his sister Mildred V. Himmelberg of the Washington DC area. Bill had a special athletic gift and although his dreams weren’t fulfilled he starred in football, baseball and was a Metro All-Star in basketball in the DC area. He also officiated all three sports for many years at the high school and college level. After moving to Hollywood, FL he belonged to many organizations and will be remembered as an avid golfer and coin numismatist. Bill loved life, adventure and all the people around him. His impish smile and caring attitude will be dearly missed. Memorial service to be held at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, 6400 Hollywood Blvd, Hollywood FL on Saturday, 12/21 10:00 am to 12:30 pm with a celebration of his life to follow at Tropical Acres Restaurant.
