Teena on behalf of Auntie B of Paul Island, Westmo (Westmoreland)

Auntie B would like everyone to know that she is deeply saddened by the passing of Levi as we all lovingly called him. She remembers the early days when he would travel with his family to visit her in Paul Island. He loved curried fish and whenever he came, he looked forward to enjoying a good meal of curried fish and rice. Over many years, Lynval visited her every opportunity he got and on these visits, he spent time with the family in Paul Island. He maintained contact with Joy even while he was in Florida and she spoke with him about a month ago. He told her he was not doing very well and that he would soon be gone. Well, it is obvious now that he was right. We have missed having him here for visits but we believe he is in a better place.

Love and prayers to Lynval;s children and grandchildren.

Sleep on Levi until you meet up with Auntie B and family.

Dear Family of Lynval,

We the Ramjus/t, Williams and other family members here throughout Jamaica are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of our cousin, friend, nephew and associate; Lynval, Mr. Ramjust, Ramms, Curry man and other affectionately assigned names.

It seems that it has been a short time since he left Jamaica and for us who have not seen him for a while, we will always cherish the great memories we have of him. He never missed a family occasion including funerals while he was here and it is sad that we are not there to share with his immediate family for the memorial service today. We look forward to getting together here in Jamaica to have our own memorial and time of reflection on his life.

We remember Lynval as a very kind and compassionate man. He loved to give and to be with his family whom he loved so much. WE know too that he loved his country and would have loved to be able to visit us but time and illness did not allow him to in recent months. He was still in touch with many of us and from what he said, we knew as he did that his time was at hand. He was ready.

We remember him as a pleasant and happy man; no matter what the circumstances, he always ad a smile and a kind word.

We remember him as one who always bragged about his children and even for those who did not meet them, we knew them by name. May the fond memories of your father comfort your hearts.

We remember Lynval as someone who enjoyed a good meal; curried fish, preferably. .

We will always cherish the memories of our dear Lynval and thank God for the time we all shared together.

May his soul rest in peace & light perpetual shine on his path .

Blessings & love from Lynval’s cousins in Jamaica.

To the family and friends of Mr. Ram just,

I am so sorry for your loss and truly understand that the death of loved one is one of the most devastating experiences a person can face. Try and recall happy memories of the times you shared with your loved one, by looking at photos. At first remembering those times might be painful. However, in time these memories will help you heal rather than cause you to hurt. God’s word provides the greatest comfort of all. The Bible teaches that the dead will live again. Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. He that exercise faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life.” John 11:25
