Blake J. Bennett

September 28, 1948~April 13, 2014

BLAKE JAMES BENNETT, age 65 years, was born as the third child of
Charles and Jane Bennet in Detroit, Michigan. He is survived by his
wife of over 42 years, Jane Wilson Bennett. Although they were never
blessed with children, Jane will continue to be surrounded by their
family Jane R. Bennett, Val Bennet MacLeish and husband Jim, Brian
Bennett and wife Irene, Bill and Luella Wilson, John and Lynn Wilson,
their delightful nieces and nephews and real great-nieces and
great-nephews as well as their many friends and business associates.
Blake came to know Jesus as his Saviour at a young age. He continued
to grow in the assurance of his salvation and the promise of eternity
through out his life, knowing that Jesus loves him with an everlasting
love. “There’s never enough time. Praise God we have eternity!” A
memorial service will be celebrated at Calvary Chapel Boca, 1551 West
Camino Real, Boca Raton, FL 33486 at 7 PM on Friday April 25th. As
expressions of sympathy any gifts can be made to the National
Christian Foundation of South Florida, 5110 North Federal Highway, 2nd
Floor, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33308, in lieu of flowers.

We have 35 years of wonderful memories with Blake. But now, because of God’s grace, mercy and salvation through Jesus, we have Eternity in Heaven to look forward to spending together!

And meanwhile, Jane, our prayers of comfort are for you and we hope to continue making memories together here before we all “graduate”.

We love you dearly!

Dear Friend,

Are you with us yet? Your spirit disembodied in the room, wondering at our grief? We loved you in life and will remember you always. Your kindness. Your grace. Your compassion. Your generosity. Your humility before God and faith in his Son, Jesus. Your last gift was showing us how to die with peace and courage. Our Vistage group shares a special fellowship with our members – sharing not only business challenges, but also many personal challenges. We have learned so much from each other. This lesson is the hardest yet because we know that all of us will have to take this journey. We can only hope to do it with the grace and courage shown by our dear friend, Blake.

With love,

Your Vistage Brothers and Sisters

Jane Marie,

I read somewhere that when someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure. I am sure you have many precious memories. You and your mom and dad are in our thoughts and prayers.

Love always,

Linda and Gerry

Blake Bennett was one of the few chosen to lead me to Jesus, he was very

instrumental in teaching me about Scripture.

J.B. will always have a special place in my heart and soul, like his Wife

Jane and his Family and Friends, I will miss him greatly for the rest of

my earthly life.
