Bencomo, Jewel T., 81, a loving mother and grandmother, of Davie, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 1, 2014. She was born on September 14, 1932, in Shelby, NC, to the late Boyd and Cora Tate nee Tarlton. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her devoted daughter, Tonya Leon; her beloved grandchildren, Cristi Jerez, Caryn Cichewicz and Carlos Jerez; and her loving great-granddaughters, Annalysse and Cailyn Cichewicz. Visitation will take place on Friday, September 5, starting at 1:00 p.m. with a Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. at Calvary Chapel Ft. Lauderdale, 2101 West Cypress Creek Road, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33309. Interment will follow at Lauderdale Memorial Park Cemetery.
