Word can not express what a great loss this is to everyone who had the pleasure to know Debbie. I was fortunate to have Deb as my supervisor for 8 of the 16 years I have worked for Food Service. She always brought a smile and laughter when she was around. I will always think of her with her famous Debbie wave. As this is a loss for her family and friends it is the beginning of a new journey for her so it’s not goodbye but as Debbie said best it’s just Tallly Ho for now. We will miss you.

My heart is so sad for my dearest and best friend, Deborah We shared so many memories from childhood up until I spoke with her in November, before the holidays. We never missed calling each other every year, chatting about old times and family. She was like family to me, a sister and dearest friend. We use to go shopping in her “bug” and spent many days laughing and enjoying life. She was a real down to earth friend, mentor, Christ like and always smile and had encouraging words all the time. I can hear her laughing now and can see her beautiful smile. I miss her so much.
To the family I am hurting also but I know Deborah would say “Celes be Strong”. I will forever and always love and miss my friend. And God I will trust you. RIP

Debbie —
I will miss the dinners we had together and the good times like the trip you and Jane made to Napa Valley when I was on a project in California and you had too many wine tastings. And who is going to take over your task of making sure my outfits are changed during my viewing?
With Love,

To the Family of our Beloved Debbie:
Debbie, who shared her knowledge and wealth of information with members of the Liberty City Church of Christ Healthcare Ministry and Church Family will be sadly missed but will always have a memorable place in our hearts. Debbie was a woman of great patience, quiet in nature, gave freely of her time and asked nothing in return, strong in character and style and had a giving spirit. May the memories of Debbie bring a smile and happiness to her family and all who knew and loved her. Ivenette Black, Liberty City Church of Christ
