PULITANO, Joseph, 88, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother, of Pembroke Pines, entered into eternal life on Sunday, May 17, 2015. He was born on March 22, 1927, in Newark, NJ, to the late Frank Pulitano and Julia Malanga. Joseph proudly served in the US Army from 1945-1946, he then, worked as an Electrical Inspector for the City of Newark for many years before relocating to Florida. Preceded in death by his beloved son, Frank “Frankie” Pulitano and his sisters, Rae Dooley & Anna Balsamo. His memory will always be cherished by his wife of 34 years, Madeline Pulitano; his son, Michael Pulitano; his daughters, Joann Denequolo & Lisa VanDenberg; grandchildren, Marlise, Frankie, Joey, Ricky & Gianna; great-grandchildren, Mia & Matthew; brother, John Pulitano; brother-in-law, Anthony J. Adrianne Caputo; 2 nieces and 4 nephews. Visitation was held on Friday, May 22, 2015, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, University Drive Chapel. Funeral Mass followed at St. Boniface Catholic Church. Entombment with Military Honor Guard took place at Forest Lawn South Cemetery.
