Dearest Florida Donnellons, We are so sorry for your loss. We have so many fond memories of your dear Mother. I always figured out a way to spend the night at her house when we were on vacation! We were always so happy when she would come up for the family picnics. Hugs and prayers are sent your way. Love, Shelley

To all my Florida Donnellon Family, I always have such find memories of Aunt Vi! While I did not get to see her often, I have many vivid memories of her. Right after I graduated from college, I was nearby and she invited my friend and I over for dinner. It was nice to finally visit with her in Florida. I also loved when she would come and visit in Cincinnati and on her last several visits she stayed with my parents. Each time she was here, I would meet my mom and Aunt Vi for lunch downtown and take some time to just visit and sit on fountain square. (Aunt Vi was my godmother so it was nice that Mom would invite me.) She shared with me that when she was in Cincinnati she always bought pin oats to make goetta because she couldn’t get them in Florida. She also shared stories about her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. I know she wad thankful to be such a big part of their lives. I wish I could join you Wednesday! I hope you are able to hold the many happy memories you have of her in your hearts. My husband is making goetta the weekend and when I eat it, I will remember my visits with Aunt Vi. Please know you continue to be in our thoughts and prayers!

To my Mother, who I so dearly love and miss. Thank you for all the memories, moments and love. You have been and always will be such a tremendous influence in my life. I honestly don’t know how I will move on without you right now. You taught me to be strong and manage whatever is thrown at me; for that I am forever grateful. You will always be a strong force in my life whether you are sitting across from me or waiting for me to join you. Thank you Mom. I love you.

I’ll echo what my sisters said, it was always a joy to see Aunt Vi when she’d visit Cincinnati. It wasn’t many times over the years, but there was no question she was always happy to see us. We’re holding you all in our hearts as you see her beautiful soul off. Blessings to each of you.
