Leon was a great man who’s smile was contagious. His joyful banter always filled the room. Recently I found a CD demo he gave me of his band. My family listened to it for the first time, never guessing that would be our last time hearing his voice. We, the Waldon family, are deeply saddened by Leon’s passing. Words are insufficient… Martine and Faith, we Love you, we are here if you need us, and our prayers are with you. Leon, rest in paradise.

To Martine, Faith, Mama Banossian, and all of Leon’s family and friends; Leon gave the best of him to all of us. His smile, his jokes, his love of family, and his music. I am so grateful to have known this incredible man. I know in this time of heartbreak it may be difficult to remember but Leon’s was a life well lived. A daily example of the spirit and teachings of Christ. He was a shining example for us all. May these thoughts comfort you in the days to come.

Missing my good friend Leon. The one that always listened and never passed judgement, the one that always kept a cool attitude and fun sense of humor. Our Santa Claus! May your soul rest in peace and may God continue to grant strength to your loved ones. Continue playing your guitar in heaven.

I was just doing a google search on my long lost brother (EVERYONE at AGBU Armenian Tournament weekends thought we were twins) and am devastated about this. We did a pretty decent job of keeping touch through the years.

We met when we were teenagers and would see each other every summer through college. Then, as adults, we would let each other know when we were in town.

I am heartbroken. Leon was so awesome and I was honored to be mistaken for him.

Such a gut punch. Can’t believe you have been gone for 6 years and I am just finding out! Sorry I was upset if you didn’t answer any emails or texts!

What a guy.

Prayers to his family!
