Guiseppe Righi, age 86 years, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 in his home surrounded by his wife and daughter. Born on June 16, 1930 in New York City, he shortly after returned to San Marino, Italy. In 1952 he returned to New York where he met his future wife, Margit, and was married in February 1956. On september 3, 1967 their only child, Claudia was born. They spent the next 13 years dividing their time between New York and Lake Hopatcong, NJ, where they spent every summoner enjoying time on the lake. In 1980, Giuseppe (Joe) and family moved to Miami Shores, Florida. They enjoyed the tropical climate spending time by the pool and having parties with family and many of their friends. After 14 years they relocated to Cooper City. Joe and Margit enjoyed their retirement and took many trips back to San Marino, Italy, as well as Maryland to visit their daughter and her family.
Joe was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to many. He was an antique furniture maker his whole life, hard working and a strong man eager to help others. He loved his family and spending time with them was always at the top of his list,
Jose is survived by his wife, Margit, daughter Claudia and her husband Louis, and their two children, Alexandra and Gabriella. A Memorial Service / Celebration of Life will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, Pembroke Pines Chapel followed by a Funeral Mass at 1 PM in St. Mark’s Catholic Church, 5601 S. Flamingo Road, Southwest Ranches, FL 33330.
