Irma Castro, a beloved mother, grandmother and sister, long time resident of Davie, coming from the beautiful island of Puerto Rico, passed way peacefully at her home with her family by her side on the night of October 16, 2017. Pre-deceased by her husband, Ruben Castro; son, John and daughter, Ana. Survived by her daughters, Monica (George) May and Alice (Jorge) Nieto; son, Ruben Castro; sisters, Miriam and Jenny; and grandchildren, Carina, Raina, Lance and Jason. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 19, from 6-9 p.m. Tributes of a Lifetime Service will begin at 7:30 p.m. at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, University Drive Chapel. Funeral Service will be on Friday, October 20, 10:00 a.m. also at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Gardens (north).
