Miranda, Danny Lee, 62, of Cooper City, passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on Monday, December 4, 2017. Born in Miami, Florida, the first of two children born to the late Angelo L. Miranda and Dolores Miranda. He faithfully served his community as an Interventional Radiology Technician at Memorial Hospital Pembroke for over 41 years. Danny was an avid athlete, having ran the first Disney marathon in January of 1994. He enjoyed bowling including having a 300 game and he also loved baseball and biking. He was an excellent husband and loving father and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Survived by his beloved wife of 22 years, Elizabeth H. Miranda; his two daughters, Jennifer Rodemick and Samantha Bean; sister, Beverly Davis and her husband, Wayne; his pride and joy, his three grandchildren, Katielynn Hajos (goddaughter), Calvin Hajos and Mason Bean; niece, Nicole Mason and her husband Andrew; great-niece, Emma Mason; uncle Louis Miranda; and numerous cousins. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 15, 2017, from 2-4 PM and 6-9 PM with a Tribute of a Lifetime Service at 7:00 PM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, University Drive Chapel. A second visitation will be held on Saturday, December 16, starting at 10:00 AM with Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at the Luther Memorial Church located at 1925 North State Road 7, Hollywood, FL 33021.

I met Danny’s sister, Beverly, in 1971 and we became sisters. Danny was a brother from then on. He was kind and generous and well liked by all. I loved watching Bev, Danny and "Dad" bowl. Never a dull moment. He will be missed by all that knew him. I love you Danny. Rest in peace. My deepest condolences to the wonderful family as you mourn your loss. Dear Family, I just wanted to share my condolences with you during this difficult time. I too worked at Memorial Hospital in the Pharmacy Dept. We are a family there. When my grandmother passed, I found a scripture from the Bible to be comforting. John 5: 28,29 gives a hope for our loved ones in the future. I hope it comforts you.

R I P Danny, i worked with Danny over 35 years at Memorial Regional Hospital, he was a wonderful friend and former co worker of mine. I remember seeing him and chatting with him when we passed each other in the halls at Memorial Pembroke Hospital. May his soul rest in peace and his memory be eternal.

Dear Elizabeth and family, A friend sent me the obituary with Danny’s picture and I was heartbroken to hear of his passing. As the Director of Imaging at Pembroke Pines Hospital, I worked closely with him for over 20 years. He was an exemplary technologist and one of the nicest young men I had ever met. We were all so happy for him when he met you, Elizabeth, and we could see his eyes light up at the mention of your name. He was a skilled technologist and wonderful with patients. I left Pines Hospital many years ago, and was so happy to see that he continued working in interventional radiology. We were like family at Pines, and even though I moved away, and haven’t seen him in years, I feel a tremendous loss and I will always carry him close in my heart.
