Thompson, Lennon Carl, a long time resident of Miramar, coming from Portland, Jamaica, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at the age of 73. Survived by his wife, Rowena Thompson; sons, Carl Thompson and his wife, Shelly, Shane Thompson and his wife, Monique and Sheldon Thompson. Lennon is also survived by his brother, Dudley Thompson; sister, Maise Thompson; and his two grandchildren, Anthony and Emily. Visitation will take place on Saturday, January 13, 2018, starting at 10:00 AM with Funeral Service at 10:30 AM at Sheridan Hills Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn South Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family would like donations to be made in Lennon’s memory to Sheridan Hills Baptist Church, 3751 Sheridan Street, Hollywood, FL. Arrangements are being handled by Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, Hollywood Boulevard Chapel.
