Underwood, Douglas Eugene, 86, a resident of Deerfield Beach, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, March 8, 2018. He was born on July 22, 1931, in Montreal, Canada, to the late Miles Norman Underwood and Lillian Osborne. He proudly served in the US Marines as a Sergeant from 1948-1952, he then had a successful career as a pilot in the airlines industry. Survived by his brother, James Underwood; niece, Susan Block; nephew, Richard Underwood; and sister-in-law, Thelma Jean Underwood. Urn Committal took place on Friday, March 30th at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, Florida. Arrangements entrusted to Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, Hollywood Boulevard Chapel.
