John “Jack” B. Cresse

John “Jack” Cresse, 72, a proud US Navy veteran, of Davie, passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2018. He was born on April 26, 1945, in Fort Worth, Texas, to the late William B. Cresse and Elvera (Strand) Cresse. Survived by his mother, Elvera Cresse; brother, William “Bill” Cresse; niece, Bonnie Cresse; and nephew, Brian Cresse. A Lakeside Celebration of Life will be held on March 10 at 11 am in Lake Placid Florida, 272 Huntley Drive Lake Placid, FL 33852, it will be a casual affair, please wear your favorite Guy Harvey or Gator shirt. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted to 2 of the charities Jack supported, The Special Olympics, www.specialolympics.org and Greenpeace, www.greenpeace.org. Arrangements entrusted to Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, University Drive Chapel.

What can I say. Jack was a great man and friend. I shared so many good times with Jack from camping at Jonathan Dickinson state park, the Peace River, fishing trips and so much more. Jack was always there to lend a helping hand in any way he could. Jack you will truly be missed and may you Rest in Peace. My condolences go out to the Cresse family.
