I got to know and met Aunt Ying Gao the very first time in my life in 2016. The first impression of her was that she is a very kind hearted, very thoughtful and very caring. We stayed together for a week in Beijing with my mom (her younger sister) and uncle (her younger brother). It happened that uncle fall sick for 3 days during that time and I got to see another side of her . Where she took care of uncle just like a mother. I even joked with uncle and said that your sis is just like your mom..and each time when we talked I referred Aunt as Mom to uncle. When my mom fall sick and couldn’t walk in 2016..Aunt was very worried and kept calling her.. my mom even admits that Aunt’s love and care is as warm as a mother. I still can feel the warm and great heart that Aunt has for her family. She is indeed a very Great sister to my mom. A very gentle and kind Aunt to me. I will always remember her and miss her greatly. In fact I have a plan to visit her this coming summer.. But maybe God has a better plan for her.. I hope now she can rest in peace in heaven..

My grandmother, Yinggao Lin, was an educated and caring lady. She is educated as she can teach me, my brother, and my cousin Andrew Chinese and math. At her age, she was still trying to learn other languages. She was a caring lady. Under any circumstances, whether she is sick or busy, tired or sleepy, she still gets up to cook for her family.
