We are sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. She was a good person. I have memories of when we were kids and I would be sitting in your kitchen above the funeral home talking to your mom while I waited for Patty.

So sorry to hear about Mary’s passing. I remember Mary from living in Ozone Park on 102nd Avenue. My dad (Peter Esernio) and Mary were cousins, as I think Dora was my dad’s aunt. I remember as a child going to the funeral home with my brother, George & sister, Marie to visit Dora. It was practically a Sunday tradition. We would either visit one of his sisters or Dora. If I think about it, Dora was my grandfather’s sister. I was doing a family tree, but couldn’t figure it all out, as no one is around to give me info. If I am not mistaken, I think she used to go to the Nativity socials with Louise Graganella. They were the nicest people I can remember. Again, so sorry for your loss and as I can imagine, it is a deep loss.

I was saddened to learn of Mary’s passing. My earliest recollection of her was as a child my father would take me and my sisters to visit with his cousin Mary after Sunday Mass at Nativity. She was a sweet and loving lady. She will be missed.
