Shaid Fortuney, age 41, a resident of Kendall, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, June 14, 2018, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born in Queens, New York, the son of Lesley Graham and Magdeline Fortuney. 

After graduating high school, Shaid attended college and ultimately became a Customer Care Representative in Healthcare Insurance. 

His family will miss his contagious smile, awesome fun personality, his flirty ways and most importantly the beautiful human being he was. His memory will always be cherished by all who knew him. 

Shaid is survived by his pride and joy, his children, Brittney Graham, Zihir Lynn and Jaheim Fortuney; his mother, Magdeline Fortuney; his caring sisters, Sophia Graham, Kiamesha Fortuney-Graham, Magdeline Graham and many dear friends whom he considered family. 

Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, June 30, 2018, 12:00 PM at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, 8005 Miramar Parkway, Miramar, FL 33025. Arrangements entrusted to Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, Hollywood Boulevard Chapel.
