Sandra Fernandez, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, of Sunrise, passed away at home on Saturday, August 11, 2018. She was 56 years young. Sandra was born on June 17, 1962, in the beautiful island of Havana, Cuba, to parents Julio Fernandez and Haydee Ramos. After relocating with her family to south Florida, Sandra continued her education and became a legal assistant for a law firm. Her family will always remember her great sense of humor, the great times they shared together, the delicious meals she cooked for them, her great gardening skills but most importantly the beautiful soul she was. Her life and legacy will always be remembered by her beloved husband and companion of 22 years, George L. Senises; her children, David (Tiffany Jones) Castillo, Jennifer Castillo, Michael Castillo, Christian Senises and Demi Senises; her pride and joy, grandchildren, Aydan, DJ, Olyvia, Mason and Trinity; mother, Haydee Lezcano; sisters, Niurka Albelo, Iris Fernandez and Jessica Lores; brothers, Julio Fernandez, Guillermo Fernandez and Rene Rodriguez. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 17th, from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM with a Tribute of a Lifetime Service at 8:00 PM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, Hollywood Boulevard Chapel.
