Grace L Nixon (Kohlhund) was born November 11, 1933 in Jersey City, New Jersey. She was predeceased by her parents, August and Antoinette, her husband, Joseph and her sister, Lynn. She is survived by three children, Grace Manne ( Robert), Joseph Nixon ( Linda) and James Nixon., three grandchildren Jennifer Manne- Goehler ( Alexander) , Michael Manne ( Allison) and Gregory Manne, and three great grandchildren, all much loved.
Grace was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. For over 25 years Grace worked in an administrative position at the firm of Conroy, Simberg in Hollywood, Florida where she had many friends. She was also an active member of St Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church in Southwest Ranches for over 25 years where she worked with the Women of St Mark and Outreach .
The family will gather at St Mark’s Church from 3:30-4:30 PM on Monday, September 24, following a Memorial Mass will take place and a reception at the home of Robert and Grace Manne in Weston. All are welcome.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested contributions to the charity of your choice, or to Safe Haven for Newborns, Hope Outreach, or Lifenet4 Families.

I had the pleasure and honor to work with Grace for 20+ years. Grace always treated her co-workers like family. I will miss her banana bread, sausage and peppers, and beautiful holiday decorations, but most of all her laughter, honesty and sage advice. Rest in peace dear lady.
