WERNICK, Samuel Sorrel, age 72, a long time resident of Pembroke Pines, passed away September 14, 2018.

Born in 1945, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late E Davis and Dorothy Wernick. He obtained an Associate degree and was a renowned Police Officer who loved to serve his community. 

Survived by his beloved wife, Pamela Wernick; his two sons, Todd Joseph Wernick and Adam Blair Wernick; and 4 grandchildren.
